Drop & Go is the quickest and easiest way to recycle your containers at SARCAN. Head over to the My Drop & Go Registration page to create your account. The only thing you need is your name, an email address, and phone number. And don’t forget to choose ‘e-Transfer’ as your payment method!

How many bags can you drop off at SARCAN?

15 items
At current time, we are asking that any individual customer using Drop & Go, whether for personal use or through a group account, limit their returns to 15 items (bags/boxes) per visit. For more information, please see our Visiting SARCAN During COVID page.

Does SARCAN have a drop and go limit?

Exemptions to the $75 per person/per week cash limit at SARCAN are available for bulk order customers such as bottle drives, restaurants and bars, businesses, schools, and special occasions like concerts, sporting events, and weddings.

Exemptions to this limit are available to bottle drives or any organization that is returning beverage containers from places like a school, library, sports complex, or special events like weddings, concerts, festivals, etc.

What does SARCAN pay for bottles?

Milk containers less than 1 litre in size will carry a ten cent deposit, those one litre or more will have a 25 cent deposit. Milk containers will also carry a handling fee of 6 cents for plastic, 3 cents for paperboard, and 7 cents for glass.

What can I take to SARCAN?

SARCAN will accept fluid beverage containers including milk, buttermilk, cream, fluid coffee creamers, lactose-free milk products and drinkable yogurt.

Does SARCAN take plastic bags?

SARCAN accepts beverage containers, paint and electronics. Many other household items can also be recycled, and most Saskatchewan communities offer either curbside recycling or a town recycle centre where household materials such as paper (newspaper, cardboard, etc.), plastics (shampoo bottles, yogurt containers, etc.)

Can you take cardboard to SARCAN?

Rinse Your Containers While it is okay to squish plastic milk jugs, please don’t crush cans or bottles, they need to remain as is.

Are coffee creamer containers recyclable?

A reminder that non-dairy liquid coffee creamers are now included in the beverage container recycling system.
